LITTLE SOULS - CIRCUS EDITION
The circus came to Little Souls quietly.
No parade. No fanfare. No posters announcing its arrival. Just six peculiar little performers waiting beneath the lights as though they had always been there.
Meet Selene, Cordelia, Lacuna, Shaula, Blythe and Versa — six new Little Souls, each with her own rather unusual talent... and her own ideas about what constitutes perfectly normal behaviour.
There are puppets and buttons, porcelain and strings, one particularly troublesome scorpion tail, and at least one little girl who may require a second glance before you work out exactly what is bothering you.
Welcome to The Little Souls Circus.
THE CREATURES NOBODY SAW
The Creatures Nobody Saw
Somewhere between the places we know and the places we've stopped noticing, a few rather unusual creatures have been quietly getting on with their lives.
Meet Wumble, Skelter, Tumblekin, Coorie, Drouk and Sproon — six curious little beings who have somehow escaped every field guide, every naturalist and, for the most part, human attention altogether.
Some collect forgotten things. Some remember stories carried by dark water. Some simply watch. And one, despite being exceptionally cute, should absolutely not be touched.
Perhaps nobody has ever discovered them.
Or perhaps grown-ups simply forgot how to look.
Welcome to The Creatures Nobody Saw, a Little Souls™ collection from Thistles & Pixels™.
Some things survive because nobody believes in them
The Mourning Glass
A Thistles & Pixels Original
And some because nobody quite knows what might happen if they are thrown away.
At the edge of town, beside an old cemetery, stands a little mirror-restoration shop inherited by Evelyn Vale from her grandmother, Eleanor. Along with the shop came a lifetime of curious treasures, old photographs, faded letters, tarnished jewellery... and a handful of rules Evelyn never took particularly seriously.
Especially the one about a glass that looks back.
The Mourning Glass is a richly detailed gothic collection of 128 pieces, filled with antique mirrors, ravens, cemetery relics, Victorian keepsakes, mourning lace, jewels, candles, books, florals and fragments of lives once lived.
Dark and elegant with touches of faded claret, funeral ivory, tarnished metal and old parchment, it was created for building your own beautifully haunting tags and artwork, with plenty of individual elements to layer, combine and make entirely your own.
And, as always, there is an original Thistles & Pixels story woven through the collection.
Just remember Eleanor Vale's advice...
ORIGINAL SIN
Some ideas can be imitated. But the spark that made them original? That belongs to the imagination that created them.
Original Sin – Partners in Design is a collaboration between Thistles & Pixels™ and AI By TK DEZIGNS, born from one shared story and one shared colour palette, then allowed to wander down two very different creative paths.
For the Thistles & Pixels side, we followed Luna into a strange little world of almost-right things: The Almosts. Familiar objects behave just a little differently, reflections cannot quite be trusted, and handmade treasures, crooked details and curious creatures turn a simple idea into something altogether more peculiar.
At the heart of both collections is our original story, Original Sin – Partners in Design, exploring inspiration, imitation and that elusive little spark that makes an idea truly your own.
And that is where the fun of this collaboration lies.
Two completely different worlds. ✨
You can visit AI By TK Dezignz to discover Tammy’s wonderfully quirky woodland interpretation and download her half of the collaboration.
Samhain - Whispers Through the Glen ππ―️
There comes a night in Thistle Glen when autumn seems to hold its breath. The mist settles a little lower, lanterns glow a little warmer, and the old paths through the Glen feel as though they remember every footstep that has ever passed along them.
Samhain Whispers Through the Glen is a collection about that night.
At the heart of Samhain in the Glen stands the Great Mother Rowan, ancient guardian of generations and keeper of countless memories. Beneath her branches, the families gather around the Remembrance Ring, bringing small sprigs of rowan berries tied with ribbon or thread in the favourite colour of someone no longer with them. Each carries a simple name, and together they create a circle of colour, memory and love.
There are no grand speeches and no sadness demanded of the night. Samhain in Thistle Glen is about remembering those who came before, celebrating the lives that touched our own, and carrying them quietly with us as the seasons turn.
Around that tradition you’ll find Luna, Travis and their friends, standing stones disappearing into the mist, glowing lanterns, autumn woodland, rowan berries and the creatures who share the Glen. And, because this is Thistle Glen, there are secrets tucked amongst the leaves and brambles too.
Inside are 210 pieces, filled with characters, animals, autumn elements, florals, frames, papers, masks and plenty more, wrapped in rich russets, berry reds, heather purples, mossy greens and warm lantern golds.
And somewhere beyond the gathering, where the mist thickens and no familiar path is supposed to lead, something waits amongst the brambles...
Perhaps the veil has secrets of its own.
Something Woolly This Way Comes
There’s something rather strange stirring in the yarn basket…
A dropped stitch here, a suspicious rustle there, and before you know it, a whole collection of woolly little oddities has wriggled into existence!
Something Woolly This Way Comes! is a cosy, quirky Halloween collection filled with knitted characters, curious creatures and plenty of handmade hocus-pocus.
Grab your needles, mind the loose ends… and whatever you do, don’t leave the yarn unattended. π§Άπ
