The Mourning Glass

A Thistles & Pixels Original

Some things are kept because they are beautiful.
Some because they are precious.

And some because nobody quite knows what might happen if they are thrown away.

At the edge of town, beside an old cemetery, stands a little mirror-restoration shop inherited by Evelyn Vale from her grandmother, Eleanor. Along with the shop came a lifetime of curious treasures, old photographs, faded letters, tarnished jewellery... and a handful of rules Evelyn never took particularly seriously.

Especially the one about a glass that looks back.

The Mourning Glass is a richly detailed gothic collection of 128 pieces, filled with antique mirrors, ravens, cemetery relics, Victorian keepsakes, mourning lace, jewels, candles, books, florals and fragments of lives once lived.

Dark and elegant with touches of faded claret, funeral ivory, tarnished metal and old parchment, it was created for building your own beautifully haunting tags and artwork, with plenty of individual elements to layer, combine and make entirely your own.

And, as always, there is an original Thistles & Pixels story woven through the collection.

Just remember Eleanor Vale's advice...

If the glass ever looks back at you...
do not look away.
